Well, work is underway in the first 24 hours after taking over.  The first thing I’ve done is to upgrade the phpld script to version 3.2, from it’s previous version 2. The new version offers many new features such as allowing inclusion of articles in the directory. We’ve also added a great new template, which is also being used for this blog. Using the same theme ties the directory and blog together quite nicely.  We’ve also added some mods to the directory, these include a site-map, news-feed, back-links information for each listing and a graphical representation of the page rank of all sites listed in the directory. We’ll be upgrading again to phpld 3.3 as soon as the template we’re using is updated.  We’re also going to be adding a couple more mods in the next couple of days. After that, the hard work starts as we go through the directory category by category, amending titles, description, meta etc to further improve the directories serps. PetQD A Quality Pet Web Directory
